Saltburn has an amazing community of photographers, whose stunning images of the pier at sunset inspired this painting. From silhouettes of people walking against the sun to breathtaking views of golden skies, I wanted to bring it all together in one scene—while also capturing the surfer’s daring spirit of adventure.
