I'm a self-taught soft pastel artist based in the seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, England.
With over 20 years of experience as a graphic designer, my design skills have slightly evolved as I explore my love for the ocean and surfing through pastel art.
My journey into pastel art began when a recurring back injury prevented me from surfing regularly, but it soon evolved into an exciting new way to reconnect with the ocean.
Sketching and painting opened my eyes to the beauty of this little seaside town, offering me a fresh perspective on my love for surfing.
I aim to capture the excitement of surfing through my artwork. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of Saltburn, the ocean's power to celebrate life and the joy of riding a wave.
Using vibrant colours and playful movement, my work invites viewers to experience the thrill of surfing in a bright and uplifting way.
